In the summer of 2025, inspectors from the Canton of Vaud arrived at a farmer's property for a routine farm inspection. According to SRF, the farmer covered the officials' vehicle with soiled straw and manure, causing complete damage to it.

The newspaper La Côte reported, citing a penal order, that the farmer also threatened the inspectors and prevented them from carrying out their work.

The public prosecutor found him guilty of property damage, threatening government officials, obstructing an official action, and disregarding a government order. The court sentenced the man from the Vaud region of La Côte to a suspended prison sentence of 160 days.
