According to Google News CH – Crime (de), during the night leading into Sunday, 9 August, shortly before 00:45, two men were slightly injured in an altercation on Metallstrasse at the Metalli shopping centre in Zug. The victims are a 64-year-old Swiss man and a 52-year-old German.
Both were taken to hospital for examination and discharged on the same day. The suspected perpetrators, two men yet to be identified, fled after the attack together with further persons in a white VW Golf in the direction of Gubelstrasse.
The circumstances of the altercation as well as the precise course of events remain unclear and are the subject of ongoing investigations, according to a statement from Zug police.
The police are asking anyone who made observations in the Metallstrasse area on the night of the incident, or who can provide information about the perpetrators, the white VW Golf, or the escape route, to contact the Zug police operations control centre: telephone 041 595 41 41. The two men directly involved in the altercation are also expressly called upon to contact Zug police.
