During the morning of this Monday, in the rural zone of Santo Domingo, within the Medialuna del Convento, Carabineros officers detained a subject accused of the crime of threats.
The incident arose from a discussion between neighbours. In the midst of the conflict, the aggressor removed an air-powered pistol from his clothing and fired a shot towards the victim, who was unharmed. Additionally, the man shouted intimidating phrases at her in which he promised to kill her.
Given that the crime occurred in flagrante delicto, the uniformed officers managed to apprehend the suspect in the act and seized the weapon used in the aggression.
Following police intervention, the duty prosecutor ordered that the detainee be transferred to a detention control hearing to determine his legal status.
