Judicial official in Santiago detained for leaking data to drug gang

According to puranoticia.pnt.cl, the San Bernardo Guarantee Court extended the detention of Jaime Osvaldo Inostroza Andrade, an administrative official at the Third Criminal Trial Court in Santiago, charged with handing over information to a narcotrafficking gang active in the southern Metropolitan Region.
Inostroza Andrade, a computer engineer with 29 years of experience in the Judicial Power, faces charges of aggravated bribery, money laundering and violation of the Drug Law.
The Western Metropolitan Public Prosecutor's Office requested an extension of the detention until this Friday, arguing that there are pending investigations, including forensic analysis of electronic devices seized from the accused.
The official was remanded to Santiago 1 prison facility, after his transfer to the Capitán Yáber annex was ruled out—where the defence had requested transfer for security reasons—due to lack of available spaces. The court ordered additional protective measures.
