According to puranoticia.cl, the San Bernardo Guarantee Court extended the detention of Jaime Osvaldo Inostroza Andrade, administrative official at the Third Criminal Trial Court of Santiago, charged with allegedly passing information to a drug gang operating in the southern Metropolitan Region.

Inostroza Andrade, an IT engineer with 29 years of service in the Judicial Power, faces charges of aggravated bribery, money laundering and violation of the Drug Law.

The West Metropolitan Public Prosecutor's Office requested the extension of detention until this Friday, arguing that outstanding investigations were pending, including analysis of electronic devices seized from the accused.
