A man of approximately 35 years of age remains alive, though in a delicate condition, after being struck by ten firearm projectiles in the municipality of La Pintana. The attack occurred on Celanova Street and is being investigated as attempted murder by the Specialised Prosecution for High-Profile Crime and the Chilean Investigation Police.

Following the incident, the injured person was rushed to Padre Hurtado Hospital, where physicians managed to stabilise him. Although his condition is serious, the doctors ruled out imminent risk to his life.

The prosecutor in charge of the case, Denisse Valenzuela, specified that the victim was walking on the public road when a car with two occupants approached. From inside the vehicle, one of the occupants fired multiple shots at the pedestrian, striking him in various parts of his body.

To date, no persons have been detained or identified as suspected perpetrators of the attack. Investigation teams continue gathering evidence to identify those responsible and establish the motives that may have triggered the assault.
