The Limassol District Court will address on 11 June the pre-trial objections in the case of the private criminal prosecutions brought by the Thanasis Nikolaou family, according to Politis.
On Thursday, the court requested the written submission of the pre-trial objections by defence lawyers to the revised indictment. Hearings on these new objections have been scheduled for the coming Thursday.
Five defendants are in the dock: forensic pathologist Panicos Stavrianou, former Limassol Police Director Andreas Iatropoulos, former head of the Criminal Investigation Department in Limassol Nicos Sofokleou, former head of Field Operations Christakis Nathanael, and former head of the Platres police station complex Christakis Kapiliotis.
