Ecuadorian police are investigating an attack with explosives that occurred in the early hours of Monday outside the ARCOM headquarters in Quito, which also affected the Ministry of Agriculture.

Explosives in central-northern Quito affect two government buildings
According to abc.es, Ecuadorian police opened an investigation following an explosive attack recorded in the early hours of Monday outside the Mining Regulation and Control Agency (ARCOM), located in central-northern Quito.
The explosion also affected the neighbouring Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG), whose facilities share the same area. Patricio Armendáriz, commander of the Quito Metropolitan District (DMQ), confirmed the incident in statements recorded by the authorities.
The circumstances of the attack, those responsible and the precise material damage remain under investigation.
