Ecuadorian police are investigating an explosive attack registered in the early hours of Monday in front of the Mining Regulation and Control Agency (ARCOM) in the north-central area of the capital, according to abc.es.
The blast also affected the facilities of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAG), located next to ARCOM in the same sector of Quito.
The authorities have not yet specified the origin of the device nor have they identified those responsible for the attack.
