Man detained in Valladolid following fatal stabbing at Tordehumos hostel
A man in his 30s died after being stabbed at a workers' accommodation in Tordehumos. The Civil Guard arrested the alleged perpetrator hours later; two other men were injured.

According to tribunasoria.com, the Civil Guard arrested the alleged perpetrator this afternoon of a fatal assault with a bladed weapon that occurred at a hostel in Tordehumos, a municipality in the province of Valladolid. A man of approximately 30 years old died after receiving multiple stab wounds. Two other workers were injured, one seriously.
The attack took place around 13:00 hours inside an accommodation facility located in the vicinity of Plaza Mayor. The emergency service 112 of Castilla y León received notice of an assault with a bladed weapon; emergency medical personnel and Civil Guard officers attended the scene immediately.
The injured were taken to hospital centres in Valladolid. One of those affected, of similar age to the victim, was evacuated in a mobile intensive care unit to the University Hospital Clinic. The third, around 20 years old, was transported by medicalised helicopter to Hospital Río Hortega. The three workers are of Indian nationality.
The Government Sub-delegation confirmed the arrest of the suspect around 19:00 hours in the vicinity of the sports complex in Villabrágima, a locality situated approximately 4.5 kilometres from Tordehumos. The search was intensified after the suspect's image was circulated to facilitate identification.
The hostel is leased by a Portuguese company and accommodates approximately 40 workers of Indian origin who work for the company's canning factory in the vicinity of Benavente, Zamora. The three affected individuals had been residing in the municipality for approximately two years with no history of cohabitation conflicts.
A trail of blood was found outside the building, currently under analysis. Investigators continue to take statements from several hostel workers to reconstruct events and determine the motives for the attack. The circumstances that triggered the assault remain unknown at this time.
