According to suspicion, a woman born in the 1950s struck an adult man in the head with an axe on Saturday, 20 June in a private residence in Nokia Linnavuori. Police received a report of the suspected act of violence at approximately 15:00, according to eestinen.fi.
The man was transported to hospital for treatment. According to police, the victim is not currently in a life-threatening condition. The woman and man knew each other previously.
Police arrested the woman on suspicion of attempted murder and continues to investigate the course of events.
