The indictment and the involved persons

The case concerns the charge of breach of duty, at the level of a misdemeanour, for the reshaping of the landscape at the site of the Tempe railway disaster. Along with former Deputy Minister Triantopoulos, four other persons have been referred to the Special Court: the then Regional Governor of Thessaly Kostas Agorastos, former General Secretary of Civil Protection Vassilis Papageorgiu, Agapios Charakopulos from the Hellenic Police and Evangelos Falaras from the Fire Service.
