The Authority for Money Laundering Prevention has proceeded with mass seizures of assets for all those involved in the tax fraud cases "To Choriátiko" and "Pizza Fun", according to To Vima. The two cases concern tax evasion exceeding €125 million to the detriment of the state and social security funds.

The head of the Authority, retired prosecutor of the Court of Cassation Charálampos Vourlióis, signed an order for comprehensive seizure covering real estate, cash, bank accounts, safety deposit boxes and securities. The order applies to all natural and legal persons involved in the two cases — the bakeries "To Choriátiko" and the "Pizza Fan" chain.

Vourlióis expressly exempts from the seizure the bank accounts used for payroll, in order to safeguard the claims of employees.
