Drug grower arrested in Kisszékely
Investigators from Tamási discovered an illegal narcotics cultivation site on a local property, according to Police.hu.
During the house search, investigators found twelve plants of varying sizes in a tent in a secluded corner of the yard, concealed by a fence. Some were planted in pots, whilst others were placed in containers set directly in the ground. An on-site examination and expert opinion consistently indicated that the seedlings could be identified as hemp plants.
The property was maintained by a 40-year-old man resident in the settlement. Authorities brought him in for sampling purposes and later questioned him on suspicion of a criminal offence. The suspect stated that he had been using prohibited substances for a long time and therefore cultivated the plants for his own consumption.
The Tamási Police Headquarters is continuing its investigation into the matter.
