Cannabis cultivator arrested in Szekszárd – six plants and equipment seized
A 32-year-old man from Szekszárd is suspected of cultivating and selling Indian hemp. Six cannabis plants and cultivation equipment were confiscated during a house search.

According to a police.hu report, an investigation was launched in May ex officio against an unknown perpetrator who, based on information, cultivated, consumed, and sold the surplus of Indian hemp on a Szekszárd farm.
Investigators from the Szekszárd Police Headquarters quickly identified the 32-year-old local man and visited him at his residence. During a search of the house and outbuildings, six cannabis plants at various stages of development and equipment necessary for cultivation were confiscated.
The suspect was cooperative: during his interrogation, he stated that he cultivated the plants exclusively for his own consumption. The fact of drug use was also supported by a THC-positive rapid test.
The case is being investigated further with the involvement of an expert at the Szekszárd Police Headquarters.
