Staff from the National Investigation Office (KR NNI) presented thirteen individuals in Hungary on suspicion of drug trafficking. The domestic operation was part of Greenlight/Trojan Shield, an international operation directed by the FBI and Europol.

The investigators conducted searches at a total of twenty-five locations. Among the seized evidence were tens of kilograms of prohibited substances, vehicles, more than 200 million forints in cash and various cryptocurrencies.

The KR NNI participated in the operation as a member of a joint task force with the federal American investigative office and the European police authority. During the international operation, eight hundred suspects were arrested across sixteen countries, which is considered the broadest police response to date against encrypted communications.
