On 13 June, a resident of Radviliškis District, born in 1982, voluntarily surrendered a "Valtro" pistol with an empty magazine to police officers.
The woman approached police and handed over the weapon. It later emerged that the pistol belonged to her son. A pre-trial investigation was opened regarding this incident for the illegal possession of a firearm.
