A court has issued a verdict against a Šiauliai resident who illegally acquired a very large quantity of narcotics. According to pretrial investigation data, in December 2024 the man acquired more than 1.2 kg of cocaine.
The defendant hid the narcotics in two locations. He kept part of them in a rented flat and the other part at his workplace. According to the man himself, these substances were brought to him from abroad. His intention was to sell them.
The court convicted him of the illegal possession of a very large quantity of narcotics. This crime carries severe criminal liability under the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania.
