A pre-trial investigation into a major property theft is being conducted at the Trakai district commissioner's office of Vilnius regional police. Unknown individuals stole a boat, which together with the equipment on board is valued at nearly €24,300.
The crime, according to preliminary data, was committed between 26 May at 15:00 and 2 June at 14:00. In Trakai municipality, Raudonė II village. A plastic catamaran "Ranger RT178" disappeared from the lake shore, where it had been chained.
Along with the boat, all the equipment kept on board was appropriated: a Yamaha petrol engine, an ePropulsion electric motor, a Garmin fishing computer and other fishing equipment.
