In the night from Sunday to Monday in Łękawica near Wadowice, a brutal knife attack occurred. Two people – a woman and a man – were injured. One of the victims is in a serious condition.
The incident took place after midnight. The attacker assaulted the victims with a knife, inflicting injuries upon them. One of the individuals sustained life-threatening wounds. Emergency services were immediately called to the scene.
Police officers from the Wadowice police headquarters began searching for the perpetrator. A police helicopter participated in the operation, using a thermal imaging camera to locate the fleeing man in nearby buildings.
