On Monday morning, an execution using a firearm took place in one of Biała Podlaska's residential districts. A 44-year-old Russian citizen who, under the artistic pseudonym Simon Skrepecki, criticised the regime in Moscow, was killed.
According to a statement from the National Prosecutor's Office, Georgian citizen Elnur A. has been charged with the murder of Robert K. Investigators established that the attacker fired five bullets at the victim. He initially fired three shots, and when the Russian fell, finished him off with two further shots from close range. An expert examination revealed seven gunshot wounds to the head, chest and back.
The crime occurred before 10:00. The suspect appeared before a prosecutor from the Lublin office of PZ PK. He denied guilt and refused to make a statement.
Investigators justified their request for a three-month arrest by citing the risk of flight, the possibility of obstruction of justice, and the severity of the threatened punishment.
