Drunk driver arrested in Silesia. He was hiding from the law
Officers from the Rawa Mazowiecka police station tracked down a 24-year-old who was fleeing from punishment in the Silesian Voivodeship. The man was listed in systems as a person wanted by red notice.
The suspect had previously got behind the wheel after drinking alcohol. A court also imposed a driving ban on him, which he did not respect. Believing that moving hundreds of kilometres away would allow him to avoid the consequences, he settled in a different region of the country.
However, police officers from the Rawa criminal division did not give up their search. Through careful operational work, they managed to establish where the fugitive was currently staying. They set out on a journey and arrested him at his new place of residence at six o'clock in the morning.
The man has already been transported to a prison facility. Law enforcement officers are reminding the public that changing one's place of residence does not protect against criminal liability. Officers consistently track down individuals attempting to flee from justice, regardless of distance.
