Police detained a couple at Warsaw allotments. Over 7.5 kg of various narcotic substances and replicas of firearms were found in a summer cottage and an apartment on Praga Południe.

Police officers from the Wawer property crime division entered a summer cottage on the allotment grounds in Wawer at midday. The couple residing there were asleep at the moment the officers entered and were surprised by their presence. Both immediately began denying they had any contact with illegal substances.
However, a search of the property yielded different results. On the premises, substances were discovered packed in various containers – from plastic bags to metal and plastic containers. Additionally, three sets of service uniforms and three replicas of short firearms were found there.
The second part of the contraband came to light at the couple's flat on Warsaw's Praga Południe. There the drugs were hidden in a freezer compartment of a refrigerator. Following laboratory analysis and weighing, it turned out that over 7.5 kg of various substances had been seized in total: amphetamine (over 4 kg), mephedrone (approximately 1.3 kg), cannabis (over 1.7 kg), THC (over 0.3 kg) and MDMA (close to 0.1 kg). Officers also secured cash totalling over 7,700 zloty.
Investigators charged both with illegal possession of a significant quantity of narcotic substances. The man, operating as a recidivist, will face court with enhanced criminal liability. The Warsaw Praga Południe District Prosecutor's Office applied for the remand in custody of the detainees. The court approved this, as a result of which the couple will spend the coming months behind bars.
