A 50-year-old wanted by the courts attempted to evade arrest by Kraków police officers by hiding on a roof. He was found in possession of amphetamine.

Kraków detectives have apprehended a 50-year-old man wanted by the judiciary. The man attempted to escape surveillance by hiding on the roof of one of the buildings in the city.
In the evening, law enforcement officers from Kraków district received information that the wanted man might be staying in a specific apartment in Kraków. Upon arriving at the scene, officers searched the premises, the entire building and the surrounding area. Initially they found no trace of the wanted man, but during further searching they discovered him on the roof, behind the chimney.
Amphetamine was found on the detained man. Officers took him to the police station and then placed him in a cell. The following day the man was transferred to a detention centre, where he faces nearly six months in prison. Additionally, he will face charges for possession of narcotics, which will most likely result in an extension of his sentence.
