A 45-year-old man during a domestic intervention insulted officers, directed death threats at them, and committed assault against one of the officers. Substances believed to be illegal were found on him.

At the end of June, a patrol was called to one of the flats in Tarnobrzeg. The woman who reported the incident claimed that her acquaintance, aged 45, had appeared at her premises while intoxicated. He was behaving loudly and vulgarly, and did not respond to requests to leave the flat. The noise was disturbing other residents' sleep.
Officers located the man inside. When they informed him of the obligation to leave, he began to cause a disturbance. Insults were directed at the officers, followed by threats of death. At one point he resorted to violence – he struck one of the police officers, violating his bodily integrity. After being restrained, he was placed in custody.
During a search conducted on him, substances were discovered that were provisionally classified as illegal. They were sent to a laboratory for detailed analysis of their composition.
After sobering up, he was charged with insulting representatives of public authority, directing criminal threats at them intended to prevent them from performing their duties, and using violence against an officer. The code provides for a sentence of up to three years' imprisonment for these offences.
