A Warsaw resident got into a Nissan while heavily under the influence of alcohol. Officers found marijuana on him and two machetes and a blue light in the vehicle.

During the last weekend of June on Sportowa Street in Władysławowo, an intoxicated driver was detained. A 43-year-old from Warsaw attempted to drive away in a car, but his further driving was prevented thanks to the vigilance of passers-by and a security guard.
A report was filed at the police station in the coastal town. Officers arrived at the scene and confirmed that the man was in a state of alcohol intoxication. A breathalyser test showed a level exceeding 2 per mille. Police officers confiscated his driving licence.
During a search, it emerged that the suspect also had narcotics on him. A test revealed the presence of marijuana. Additionally, two machetes were discovered in the car boot, along with a blue flashing light. All items were seized as evidence.
Proceedings were initiated against the 43-year-old with two charges: driving a car after consuming alcohol and possession of drugs. For the first offence, he faces a prison sentence of up to three years, a ban on driving, and a substantial fine.
The case was reported by County Police Headquarters in Puck.
