In Kołobrzeg, a disturbance occurred during which intoxicated parents of a two-year-old child assaulted officers. The incident required intervention by additional patrols.

An initial police patrol was called to the scene in connection with a breach of public order. When officers began their intervention, the parents of the small boy physically attacked them. The man and woman kicked and spat at law enforcement officers. The situation was so dangerous that it became necessary to call another patrol, which helped to overpower the assailants and place them in handcuffs.

After their detention, both parents were taken to the police station. They were charged in connection with assault on public officers. Given their state of intoxication and aggressive behaviour, they were unable to continue caring for the child.

The two-year-old was taken by services and placed in emergency child care. A family court will decide the child's fate – according to Onet.

The parents' case will now proceed to court. They face potential imprisonment for assault on police officers.
