Officers from Lower Silesia seized dozens of shipments containing banned substances. In total, approximately 2.5 kg of materials worth an estimated 130,000 zlotys were confiscated.

In mid-June 2026, officers from the Wrocław provincial police headquarters, supported by customs officials, conducted inspections at sorting facilities and shipping centres across Lower Silesian voivodeship. The operation was part of a nationwide campaign targeting dealers using courier companies to transport banned goods.
During the searches, several dozen packages containing illegal materials were found. Officers confiscated a total of nearly 2.5 kg of banned substances. These included cannabis herb in the amount of over 810 g, synthetic drugs such as 3-CMC, 4-CMC and mephedrone with a combined weight of almost 1.6 kg, as well as a quantity of cocaine.
In addition, vaporising equipment, steroids and pharmaceuticals lacking authorisation for distribution were seized. Specialists estimated that the seized materials could have brought approximately 130,000 zlotys on the illegal market.
According to a police source Policja Dolnośląska, joint operations by police and customs services allow for effective detection of smuggling attempts through courier and postal networks. Criminals regularly use legal distribution channels, betting that packages will not be inspected.
The operation confirms that package inspection remains an important tool in combating drug trafficking in Poland.
