Over 93 kg of drugs seized in nationwide Operation "Crystal"
As part of joint operations by the National Revenue Administration and police, courier shipments were inspected throughout the country. Seven people were detained, and the value of seized substances reaches millions of zlotys.

Over 93 kg of drugs seized in nationwide Operation "Crystal"
Between 16–18 June 2026, officials from sixteen customs and tax offices and police officers conducted joint operations under the codename "Crystal". The operation was aimed at detecting the illegal transport of narcotic substances, psychotropic substances and tobacco products through postal and courier shipments.
The inspections covered logistics centres, parcel sorting facilities, despatch and distribution hubs and airport border crossings throughout the country. The services used specialist equipment and dogs trained to detect drugs.
The operation involved 726 officials, including 384 customs officers and 342 police officers. A total of 2,591 domestic and foreign shipments were examined. In 126 cases, smuggling or transport of prohibited substances was detected.
As a result of the first phase of the inspections, over 32 kilogrammes of illegal substances were seized, including marijuana, mephedrone, clophedrone, ketamine, cocaine, hashish, LSD, MDMA, ecstasy and methamphetamine.
Based on the evidence gathered, police officers conducted further operational activities. Seven people were detained and a further over 61 kilogrammes of narcotic substances were recovered from them. In total, under Operation "Crystal", over 93 kilogrammes of drugs were seized.
A detailed breakdown of the confiscated substances is as follows: approximately 77 kilogrammes of marijuana, 10 kilogrammes of clophedrone, over 1 kilogramme of amphetamine, 500 grammes of hashish and 37 grammes of cocaine.
In addition, officials seized over 500 kilogrammes of illegal tobacco, 5,361 units and 12,419 millilitres of medicinal products and steroids. A total of 1,700 e-cigarettes without Polish excise marks were also discovered.
The detainees were charged with possessing and transporting significant quantities of narcotic substances. These offences carry a penalty of deprivation of liberty from three to twenty years.
