In Warsaw, the trial of Małgorzata Chechlińska, a former businesswoman on the list of 100 richest Polish women, has resumed. Accused of fraud against the heir to the Polsat Group empire, she has reached a settlement with the injured party.

In the capital, after a break lasting almost two years, criminal proceedings against Małgorzata Chechlińska have resumed. The woman, whom the media referred to as the "Queen of Zakopane", was previously in the circle of one hundred of the wealthiest Polish women.
Chechlińska has been charged with fraud against Tobias Solorz. The latter is an heir to the fortune built around the Polsat Group, one of the largest media entities in the country.
In the courtroom, despite the fact that the court has not yet issued a verdict, an unexpected turn of events took place. The parties concluded a settlement, which may influence the further course of the trial.
