Officers from Silesian police and the Border Guard have detained a further six people in connection with the activities of an international criminal group. The organised structure was primarily engaged in the illegal smuggling of migrants and the trafficking of narcotic substances.

Members of the network had connections to the environment of fake football hooligans. Their activity spanned the territory of several European countries. During the operation, investigators seized, amongst other items, two kilogrammes of narcotics and financial documentation used for money laundering.

The arrests represent a continuation of a broader investigation being conducted against this criminal structure. Previously, other people had been detained in connection with this case. The list of suspects has now been expanded by a further six individuals.
