Radom: man detained with half a kilogram of drugs remanded in custody for three months
A 42-year-old from Radom has been apprehended by narcotics officers. Approximately half a kilogram of psychoactive substances were seized from him. By court order, he will spend the next three months in custody. This offence carries a sentence of up to 10 years' imprisonment.

Officers from the Radom division tackling the trade in narcotic substances have detained a 42-year-old resident of the city. During a search of his residential premises, a cellar belonging to him and a garage, police officers discovered and seized approximately half a kilogram of psychoactive substances. These included amphetamine and marijuana, according to the Radom Provincial Police Headquarters.
The detainee was placed in a cell. After being brought to the prosecutor's office, he was charged with illegal possession of a significant quantity of narcotics. The district court decided to remand him in custody for a period of three months.
Under Polish law, possession of a large quantity of narcotic substances is punishable by imprisonment of up to 10 years.
