49-year-old Dariusz Różnicki, a former police officer, has been sought since Friday following a fatal attack on his father-in-law and serious injury to his mother-in-law in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship.

Since Friday, the search has been underway for 49-year-old Dariusz Różnicki in connection with a knife attack in the town of Mierzawa in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship. The man is suspected of killing his father-in-law and seriously injuring his 76-year-old mother-in-law.
The operation involves nearly three hundred officers. They are using a police helicopter, unmanned aerial vehicles and off-road vehicles. Teams with tracking dogs have also been included in the operation.
Różnicki previously wore a police uniform, but left the service. Following the incident on Friday, he fled the scene.
