In the town of Tymbark in Małopolskie voivodeship, an act of vandalism directed against police property occurred. A young man in uniform demolished four vehicles belonging to the police force and smashed the doors leading to the local police station.
Officers established that the perpetrator was a twenty-year-old professional soldier connected with the Podhale Riflemen unit. A sobriety test showed he had approximately one and a half per mille of alcohol in his body – information confirmed by a spokesperson for the Limanowa police in a conversation with the o2.pl portal.
Due to the perpetrator's status as a person subject to military regulations, the Military Police were informed of the entire incident. The matter was referred to the appropriate authorities.
