Montevideo.com.uy reports that police are investigating a robbery and shooting incident against a delivery worker that occurred last weekend in Montevideo, when the worker was heading to a customer's home to drop off an order.
Video footage recorded at the scene shows the package recipient accepting it and stepping away. Before he reached the door, a criminal intercepted the delivery worker and began firing.
According to witness accounts, the assailant aimed directly at the victim's head. The delivery worker reacted in time and one of the bullets merely grazed his body, which prevented the injuries from being serious.
The man who received the package administers the account "Un Pana por Uruguay", according to the publication that accompanied the video. "The boy who was making the delivery was shot and, by millimetres, they didn't shoot him in the head. He was lucky that the bullet only grazed him, but it could have ended in death", he stated.
The thief also attempted to seize the delivery worker's motorcycle, although he did not succeed. Police Station 19 has charge of the case proceedings. The victim is in good health.
