A man has been charged with the murder of Eleanor O'Dell, 33, who was found dead at a residential property in Cwlach, Llandudno, on the evening of 31 October, bbc.com reports.

North Wales Police officers were called to an address on St Seiriol's Road, Conwy, shortly after 20:00 GMT, following reports of a disturbance. O'Dell was discovered dead at the scene.

Christopher Thomas Ellis, 36, of no fixed address, has since been charged with her murder and remains in custody.

Her family described O'Dell as "gentle by nature and a ray of sunshine to all", saying their "worlds have been crushed by the loss of our beautiful girl". In a statement, they added: "She has been taken from us and our hearts are truly broken. We appreciate all the love she has received, and we are thankful for all the words of support."

Detective Inspector Rob Mahoney, the senior investigating officer, extended condolences to Eleanor's friends and loved ones. Mahoney also appealed to members of the public who had been trick-or-treating or celebrating Halloween in the area between 19:00 and 20:30 GMT to come forward.

"You may have seen or heard something, or have dashcam or mobile phone footage that could assist our inquiries," Mahoney said. Police inquiries are continuing.
