Second shooting in a week at Bakersfield TV station

ABC30 Fresno reports that Bakersfield Police are searching for the person responsible for firing multiple shots at local television station KBAK/KBFX while staff were inside the building.

The first incident occurred on Friday, 10 October, when security camera footage captured a dark-coloured car parked outside the station. Muzzle flashes are visible in the footage as shots were discharged. Police say 10 rounds struck a conference room and an office.

A second shooting at the same station followed earlier this week, with additional rounds hitting the building. No injuries were reported in either incident, though a front-facing window and other parts of the structure sustained damage.

No arrests have been made in connection with either shooting.
