Kingston Resident Faces Federal Charges Over Threat to SSA Worker
A Kingston man has been indicted by a federal grand jury for threatening a federal government employee, newportdispatch.com reports. U.S. Attorney Erin Creegan announced the charges against Kenton Juliano, 45, of Kingston, New Hampshire.
Juliano was indicted Wednesday and is scheduled to appear before a federal court in Concord at a later date.
According to the charging document, on June 26, Juliano threatened an employee of the Social Security Administration with the intent to intimidate or interfere with the employee in the performance of official duties. He also allegedly sought to retaliate against the employee for carrying out those duties.
The charge carries a maximum sentence of six years' imprisonment.
The Federal Protective Service led the investigation, with assistance from the Social Security Administration's Office of Inspector General and the Kingston Police Department.
