Second Arrest Made in Deadly Facebook Marketplace Shooting in Aldine

A second person has been charged in connection with the fatal shooting of a man who was attempting to sell property through Facebook Marketplace in north Harris County, abc13.com reports.

Investigators say 34-year-old Victor Gonzalez was robbed at gunpoint in September when he met 17-year-old Anthony Castro in the Aldine area to complete an online sale. Gonzalez subsequently followed Castro's vehicle and called 911, relaying directions to dispatchers as he pursued the suspects.

During that call, Gonzalez told dispatchers he had been shot and then fell silent. Castro was later arrested and charged with capital murder.

According to documents filed Friday, 17-year-old Ernesto Lizcano is now accused of attempting to conceal the firearm used in the killing. Lizcano was arrested and charged with tampering with physical evidence. His bond has been set at $15,000, and he is expected to appear in court on Monday.
