Two Clovis Men Charged in Central Fresno Garage Shooting

Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of 33-year-old Trey Hamilton in Central Fresno, abc30.com reports.

Fresno police booked 22-year-old Aiden Seibert and 21-year-old Isaac Beltran — both from Clovis — following the investigation into the early October killing. Seibert faces charges of robbery and murder; Beltran was booked on robbery charges.

The shooting occurred on 3 October, shortly after 6 p.m., at the intersection of Warren Avenue and Hampton Way, near Ashlan and West avenues. Officers found Hamilton inside a garage with a gunshot wound; he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators believe an argument preceded the shooting. The homeowner, who was not present at the time, told police the incident likely involved drugs.

Despite the arrests, Fresno police are continuing to appeal for information and are asking anyone with knowledge of the case to contact the department.
