Romanian national denied bail in St. Vincent cocaine export case

Romanian UK resident faces cocaine trafficking charges in St. Vincent

Adrian Marian, a Romanian national residing in the United Kingdom, appeared before the Serious Offences Court in St. Vincent on Monday on three drug-related charges, stvincenttimes.com reports.

Marian was arrested at the Argyle International Airport on September 18, 2026. He faces charges of possession of 6,660 grams of cocaine with intent to supply, possession of the same quantity for the purpose of drug trafficking, and attempting to export that cocaine.

He pleaded not guilty to each charge. The prosecution objected to bail, arguing that as a non-national Marian posed a flight risk if released. The Chief Magistrate denied bail.

Marian appeared in court without legal representation. The matter was adjourned to October 5, 2026.
