As reported by zougla.gr, a police officer was murdered in cold blood on Tuesday afternoon inside a branch of an agricultural bank in Argentina, where he had gone for a personal matter.
The victim was Ángel de Jesús Arieta Ruiz, an officer of the National Police with nearly 17 years of service. From 7 April 2026 he had been serving at a local police station, and on the day of the attack was on a three-day leave from 2 to 4 November.
The attack was recorded by security camera. In the footage, a man in a red sweatshirt is seen entering the branch and, seconds later, approaching the officer, who was at that moment speaking with a bank employee.
