Four arrested over money in Mariaca ambulance transferred to La Paz
The four fiscalía officials detained in Santa Cruz were sent to La Paz by plane for trial. They were carrying more than $10,000 and 3.5 million bolivianos in an ambulance.

Mariaca drivers fly to La Paz following seizure of millions in cash
According to El Deber, four fiscalía officials apprehended on the morning of Thursday 1 October were transferred to La Paz for trial. The detainees were captured outside the Jardines del Norte condominium, the residence of apprehended attorney general Róger Mariaca.
The four are drivers of Mariaca's vehicles. They were present at the location alongside an ambulance in which they were transporting cash, which was seized in the operation.
The total amount confiscated amounts to more than 10,000 dollars and more than 3.5 million bolivianos.
The apprehended individuals were taken to El Trompillo airport, where they boarded an aircraft from the Los Diablos Rojos unit of the Bolivian Air Force (FAB). The transfer was carried out under strict security measures.
