Hitmen murder "El Hormiga" in the Urubó; had drug-trafficking record
Police identified the victim of Thursday's murder in Porongo as J.L.B., alias "El Hormiga". Five suspects, possibly of Brazilian nationality, are being sought.

Police identified the man shot dead by hitmen on the evening of Thursday, 3 July in the Urubó area, municipality of Porongo, according to El Deber.
The victim is J.L.B., known by the alias "El Hormiga". The Special Force to Combat Crime (Felcc) of Santa Cruz confirmed his identity following the latest investigations.
According to investigations, J.L.B. went to a location where he was allegedly summoned. Occasional witnesses indicated that at least five people arrived in two separate vehicles, had a discussion with "El Hormiga" and then shot him before fleeing.
Intelligence service reports indicate that the victim had a record for drug trafficking. Police do not rule out that the hitmen are of Brazilian nationality and maintain an active search for up to five persons linked to the crime.
