The Special Task Force (GBO) arrested two 18-year-old men on Thursday morning around 05.00 in a house on Kaya Benue on Bonaire, according to bonaire.nu. The arrests were made as part of an investigation into a violation of BES firearms legislation.
The two suspects are registered with the initials D.A.E. and R.M.E. During the operation, investigators carried out a judicial search of the house, during which several items were seized that may be relevant to the investigation.
The arrests are connected to the fatal shooting that took place on Sunday 8 June 2025 at nightclub Rush on Kaya Prinsès Marie. The police have made no further statements regarding the precise role of the two suspects.
