The suspect, 41 years old, was arrested last Friday by Civil Police agents, with support from military police officers. She is facing charges of attempted murder with dual aggravating circumstances against the public servant. Investigations indicate that the detainee organised the scheme "for weeks" and offered three thousand reais to a man to carry out the murder of the victim.
According to delegate Luis Guilherme Almeida, the reason behind the plan would be retaliation due to the judicial custody of the woman's three children. The accused hired the executor and also tracked the public employee's movements to set up an ambush. The murder was not carried out due to circumstances beyond the suspect's control.
The teenager received death threats to prevent him from revealing the scheme. Despite this, he recorded a video with part of the dialogues before they were deleted and handed over the content to the municipality's assistance services.
The man hired by the woman confirmed to authorities the agreement and provided evidence that aided the investigations. Mobile devices were submitted to forensic examination, and agents found images of the victim and other public employees, indicating that the group was monitoring the routines of these people.
Considering the gravity of the matter and the coercion exercised against his own son, the judge of the Criminal Court of Ribeirão do Pinhal ordered the preventive detention of the investigated party. After police procedures, she was taken into the prison system.
