Fugitive wanted for drug trafficking arrested on Via Dutra in Volta Redonda (RJ)
A 40-year-old man with an outstanding arrest warrant was detained during Federal Highway Police patrol at km 264 of the Via Dutra, in the direction of São Paulo.

According to g1.globo.com, a 40-year-old man with an outstanding arrest warrant for drug trafficking was detained on the past Friday (30) on the Via Dutra in Volta Redonda (RJ), on the stretch at km 264, on the roadway heading towards São Paulo.
Federal Highway Police officers were conducting routine patrol when they approached a vehicle with two occupants. During verification of documentation, the police officers identified that one of the passengers was the subject of an arrest order issued by the Criminal Enforcement Court of the Capital, of the Court of Justice of Rio de Janeiro (TJRJ), issued in August of this year.
The man was taken to the Volta Redonda police station for execution of the warrant and remains at the disposal of the judiciary. The identity of the detainee was not disclosed.
