New suspect in attack on Rota lieutenant detained in São Paulo
A new suspect in connection with the attempted murder of Rota lieutenant Emerson Figueiredo has been arrested in São Paulo. Figueiredo is the brother of former volleyball player Eloá.
To date, there is no confirmation whether the detainee is Hércules da Costa Siqueira, identified by investigators as the person who fired shots at the police officer.
The man was taken to the Homicide and Protection of the Person Police Station (DHPP) without offering resistance to arrest.
