The Federal Police executed on Wednesday (8) 93 arrest warrants and 180 search and seizure warrants across 14 Brazilian states under Operation Integrated Force III. The information was disclosed by Google News BR — Crime based on data from the corporation.
The operation covers Amapá, Acre, Amazonas, Ceará, Goiás, Maranhão, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais, Pará, Paraíba, Piauí, Rio Grande do Norte, São Paulo and Bahia. The targets are accused of crimes including drug trafficking, criminal organisation, money laundering, homicide, illegal possession of firearms and cargo theft.
The action is conducted by 18 Integrated Forces to Combat Organised Crime — the FICCOs — structures that bring together the Federal Police, Civil, Military and Penal Police, the Federal Highway Police and state Public Security Secretariats in joint investigations into criminal groups.
To date, the Federal Police has not disclosed the number of people effectively detained nor the quantity of items seized. Investigations continue to establish the facts and identify any other individuals involved.
