Operation arrests eight suspects of drug trafficking and criminal court in Jundiaí (SP)
Civil Police have detained eight members of a criminal faction that monitored police officers and conducted clandestine trials in Jundiaí. Weapons, drugs and over R$ 10,000 were seized.

Civil Police arrested eight people suspected of being members of a criminal faction operating in Jundiaí (SP) on Friday (4), as reported by g1.globo.com. The investigation identified that the group monitored the routines of military and civil police officers, controlled drug trafficking and conducted clandestine trials in the municipality.
Of the eight targets with temporary arrest warrants issued by the courts, five were caught during the execution of the warrants and charged with flagrant offences.
During the operation, officers seized firearms, materials for drug preparation and over R$ 10,000 in cash. At the residences of the suspects, agents also found a firearm with its serial number filed off, tools for drug processing, accounting records, precision scales, radios for communication, 83 grammes of cannabis and four kilogrammes of cocaine.
According to Civil Police, the detainees coordinated a parallel court of the faction — known as "criminal jury" — in the São Camilo neighbourhood. The group took members of the organisation or residents who violated rules imposed by them to this location, where they carried out executions and punishments.
The operation was conducted by the Narcotics Investigation Division (Dise) with support from the General Investigations Division (DIG), Jundiaí Municipal Guard and the Police Operations Group (GOE) from Campinas, mobilising a total of 32 police officers.
The arrested individuals were taken to Jundiaí Police Station and remain at the disposal of the courts. Investigations continue in order to identify other members of the monitoring network and local trafficking operation.
